In 2007-2008, PCP members undertook a strategic planning process to establish future directions and considerations for Health Promotion in Campaspe. The vision for this plan is that 'Members of the Campaspe PCP will be leaders working together to improve the health of all people in their community.'
The planning process resulted in identification of four priority areas for action;

| 1. Community Development and Health Promotion | Campaspe PCP applies agreed principles based on a common understanding of community development and health promotion. |
| 2. Health Promotion Workforce | Campaspe PCP has a creative and responsive health promotion workforce supported by flexible ways of working. |
| 3. Addressing Inequalities and Injustice | Campaspe PCP uses processes and allocates resources to ensure health promotion initiatives address health inequalities. |
| 4. Funding and Resources for Health Promotion | Campaspe PCP ensures a fair and transparent process to maximise use of health promotion resources. |
